Carsten Nicolai aka Alva Noto plays music of the future. Once again Komponent invites one of the trendsetting personalities within electronic music. With his base in Berlin, Carsten Nicolai has played and exhibited the greatest stages and scenes round the world. His music can be described as "posthuman funk". Carsten Nicolai does not stick to traditional music genres. He can make noisy elements sound like hip-hop and R&B, and brings experimental music one step closer to the club scene.

Danish Pixel has also released on raster-noton, the same label as Carsten Nicolai. In a wonderful way Pixel mixes noise and harmony so giving birth to delicious music.
